So, this year, we packed our curiosity and headed to MIFF 2025 (Malaysian International Furniture Fair), not just for inspo, but to really dig into what the Malaysian government and local makers are cooking up in the design world.

One of our favorite parts was seeing all the fresh ideas from young talents in the MIFF Furniture Design Competition. The theme? “Fashion Inspired Furniture.” The winner, Wong Lilie from Universiti Sains Malaysia, absolutely stole the show with her dreamy rattan “Leviosa Chair”. It was like watching tradition and modern style shake hands and say, “let’s go viral!”
And honestly, it struck a chord with us. That perfect blend of nostalgic material and fresh design is exactly why we’ve started adding more rattan pieces into our collection. Rattan isn’t just aesthetic…

You know those simple, plastic monobloc chairs you see at every mamak? Well, they took that everyday icon and gave it a serious glow-up! They transformed it into a stunning dining set made from nyatoh wood. A beautiful mix of tradition and modern style. But more than that, it’s a design that is all about community and sustainability. It’s like celebrating our shared stories and values through furniture.
